Trained as a Registered Nurse with an Honours degree in Psychology and Health, I have a unique perspective to bring to my more than 20 year Reiki practice.
Being a compassionate wellness provider allows me to create a safe space for my clients to heal and recharge. I am trained in three different systems of Reiki, Tibetian/Usui, Karuna® and Holy Fire®. It is with my diverse training in Reiki that I am able to facilitate this energy skillfully for my clients’ spiritual, mental and emotional well being. They are totally supported and Divinely Guided allowing them to fully participate in their own healing revealing the best possible version of themselves.

Cindy’s Journey
My Reiki Story Began with the Birth of my Third Child
He was six weeks old and I was run off my feet also caring for his two older siblings, being an office manager for my husband’s business and running the household. Without family or friends to help me, temporary help was hired for a few short months. It was then that Reiki was mentioned and it caught my attention. I had never heard of it before but my intuition told me it was important. I also knew I had personal healing to do around my father's death as a child. At the time it felt like synchronicity when I found and trained with a Reiki Master Teacher.
I received my Reiki Master Teacher Level II in 2002
Since then, I have continuously trained, now having three different Reiki systems at the Master level including Tibetian/Usui, Karuna® and Holy Fire®. I am also a Professional member of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT).
When the pandemic happened, Holy Fire® III Online Reiki evolved
I trained in that upgraded energy in June of 2020 and now I practice and teach over technology with no difference in energy whether online or in person. My practice is online at present allowing me to reach clients not otherwise able to participate. As a result, I now have international clients from Australia, to the Netherlands, and California, as well as throughout Canada from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. With gratitude, I am able to facilitate healing across the world.

My Medical Background
I began my healthcare career as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
I was part of the Resuscitation Team, stabilizing preterm babies and bringing them into NICU. I also took part in the Transportation Team returning stable preterm babies back to their local hospitals for further care. It was very exciting and rewarding work but after three years I decided to return to school. I attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario Canada where I received an Honours degree in Psychology and Health. While I attended Queen’s University, I worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to finance my schooling. Once I graduated, I moved to Toronto, Ontario and began work at SickKids Hospital. The research I worked on was published in The Journal for Infectious Diseases and my name was listed on the paper.
Having the medical background that I have gives me the expertise to work with clients and understand their stress and anxiety from a healthcare point of view.
Being patient and compassionate, while honoring confidentiality are qualities that I value from my nursing career. The psychology and health degree further allow me to connect with people in a more informed way. With a balance of scientific and spiritual knowledge, my Reiki practice excels in bringing harmony and healing to my clients.

Client Results
Over the 22 years of my Reiki practice I have witnessed many transformations, some large and some small but all transformative.
Read a few of them below:
Healing Anxiety
In one instance, I had a client who struggled with anxiety and took daily medication to try to function from day to day. This person also had a fear of flying which brought misery to their life because their extended family lived across the ocean and it was impossible to think about flying there to see ailing family members. With only one session, this client not only stopped taking anti-anxiety medication but also lost their fear of flying and was able to make the trip to visit family before it was too late. As an added bonus, within a few days of the session, this client actually won free tickets to fly to the destination of their desire.
In other instances, transformation is not so instantaneous but takes several sessions to clear the blocks that hold us back from becoming the best version of ourselves.
Overcoming Depression
I have had the privilege to work with one client who, over the course of a couple of months, experienced the loss of love, the death of a close friend and the threat of losing their job. These three major life stressors would have defeated any normal individual, however with unwavering determination to utilize the healing energy of Reiki, this client not only recovered but became the best possible version of themself. They gained an inner strength and confidence they did not know they had by remaining open to doing the work necessary to bring lasting change to their life. With trust and dedication, the client followed the Divine Guidance that was given, and remained patient for the Divine right timing. In only a few short months, this individual became a role model to friends and family that witnessed the transformation. The client has also secured a dream job better than they could imagine.
